A little complicated
I was surprised at how complicated this item is and that the parts are marked in Asian characters, with no English to be found anywhere! Then I remembered that Asians are VERY serious about their rice, as I believe that many of them eat it at every meal. The inner lid is a nightmare to take apart and clean and then put back together again. I found the rice to be quite dry, even though I did not let it sit on "warm" for very long. I live in the high desert, so I think I am going to have to adjust the water level. But every morsel of rice was absolutely cooked through, and I was able to save a bunch in the fridge for future meals, which works for me because I love rice. I hesitated buying this, because I usually just cook for myself, but I am glad I have it. It's a decent rice cooker. Just keep the directions so you know how to clean and reassemble the inner lid!

Best rice pot
I had this exact rice cooker for a very long time then someone broke the lid. My husband bought another brand similar looking and thought that it would be just as good as Tiger rice pot. It was not even close. This is the best rice cooker, when all of my kids moved to college, I bought them their own baby Tiger rice pots. The best!

Worked well for cooking rice, exactly what it’s meant to do. I tried to make banana bread but the auto heat sensor wouldn’t continue cooking. Totally understandable and does not take away from awesome rice cooking skills. Just not for multitasking. No regrets

Tiger is Great Rice Cooker!
I’ve owned 2 Tiger rice cookers with the first still going strong but in need of a replacement at long last. I’ve gotten 20 years of use with my first Tiger. Rice perfection! It’s so easy to use. One word of warning: rice will brown and dry out if left too long after in the post cooking warming mode.
