Subterra 22-Inch Carry-On

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My goal in travel luggage is a lightweight bag. With this bag, I am able to pack for 6 day vacation using compression packing cubes (even though the bag has a compression feature inside). I can easily lift the bag over my head to place in an overhead bin. It is small and compact. The handle feels sturdy (not at all flimsy) and it extends easily. This bag is meant for a traveler who is very efficient at packing and enjoys a strong, light bag. Very sleek and modern. And this bag is smaller than a typical large carry-on bag, so it is not for person who travels with everything but the kitchen sink. The fabric and zippers appear very durable and strong. And it is waterproof. At baggage claim, all the luggage was wet due to a rain storm, but the inside of my Thule suitcase was dry. My only concern is the stitching near the piggyback loop. The Nordstrom website doesn't mention that the Thule luggage has a "piggyback" loop for adding a bag (and it comes with the strap to add-a-bag). With an added bag attached to the Thule luggage, the stitching by the piggyback loop is very exposed and looks strained. So I purchased a different "add-a-bag" strap that loops through the handle at the top of the luggage and I don't use the loop that comes with the bag. Perhaps my 2nd bag is too heavy which exposes the stitching, but I use the Thule Convertible Laptop bag as my 2nd bag. Overall, I think this is a strong, durable lightweight carry-on luggage. And I would purchase it again.
