Better than expected

I was pleasantly surprised by how pleased I am with my new Delsey carry on luggage. It’s super light, rolls like a dream and is roomy enough for all my clothes. I bought it based on the Wire Cutter review and once again they were spot on! My husband wants to replace his carry on with one just like mine.

Disappointing Design — Falls Forward Constantly

I do not recommend this suitcase. Every time I try to stand it upright, it tips forward, even when it’s not fully packed. It’s really frustrating at the airport and makes it hard to maneuver. The design feels unbalanced, and it doesn’t stay stable like other suitcases I’ve owned. Definitely not worth the hassle I suggest looking for something sturdier and better designed!!!

Weak zipper

I recently purchased the large suitcase in this set and loved it, so I was excited to swap out my carry on for this one. The first time I packed it (full but not unreasonable), the zipper split. Unzipping and rezipping fixed it. It's not broken, it's just cheap. In subsequent uses it split the same way but in different places. So if I take it in for a warranty repair I don't think they'll do anything except maybe replace it with an equally unreliable zipper. But I have to be very careful about how much I pack and do a double-check every time I zip it. Really disappointing.

I love this replacement - after a decade with an earlier version!

The Helium DLX is about perfect for me. Lightweight, very easy to roll, not too large, and stylish. Yes, basic timeless black and understated. I like it SO much better than the suitcases I have had from much pricier companies that are way too heavy, more cumbersome to lift and to roll, and frankly overpriced.
