Leather Satchel

So not worth the price. It fell apart after 2-3 days cuz the leather strap on the side rubbed the thin leather apart causing the purse to fall apart. I looked at it closely and not only was the leather super thin but was held together by thick strings (?) and a piece of plastic - how shabby!!! I could’ve gotten a higher quality bag at a leather goods store for the same price. Never trust products cuz of their brand name.

I have several bags by this brand, and they are usually excellent. While this one has very soft, beautiful leather and typically nice Ted Baker lining, that's where the love affair ends for me. The short shoulder handle is much too short. The long shoulder handle is still too short when fully extended, and I'm 5 ft 4 in. The longer shoulder strap is also extremely thin, which looks unbalanced to my eye. I might have lived with that, but the closure on the bag is completely off. The bag seems to be intended to fold on itself to look like it does in the product photo. But nothing I did made it fold like that, and the very weak magnets that should have held it closed, did nothing. It just looked awkward and weird, again nothing like the elegant bag in the photo. Sad to send this one back.
