T Tahari

Elie Tahari began working in New York City's fashion industry in the early '70s, and he is credited for popularizing one of that decade's most iconic items: the tube top. He launched his own company in 1973, and today his luxury womenswear is internationally renowned for its elegance, sophistication and grace. The designer's T Tahari line offers more affordably priced womenswear and on-trend footwear.

Just the right weight.

This sweater is light but heavy enough to hang right when wearing. I have several bought from another vendor but I paid much more for them and they were not as nice as these. Great buy!

Poor quality

It was beautiful in the store, however. after two washings, it is stretched out and pilling. Tahari was such a fine brand, so this is disappointing.

Did not wash well

It seems like a nice shirt, but I pre-washed it (according to instructions) and the dye ran terribly. It's not returnable once you've washed it, so now I have a brand new, blotchy, streaky shirt that I will never wear.

Way, WAY too small

I typically wear a small...I'm a size 6. Sometimes I will order sweaters in a Medium just give me lots of room. I ordered a small and it was WAY too small. THe sweater was fine, but it looked like a kids sweater when I took it out of the box. Unfortunately I will be returning.

Quality is lacking

I really liked the fit and fabric of this turtleneck. However, it got 2 holes in the left arm seam after I wore it twice, hand-washed and dried flat after the first wear. They skimped on fabric, so the seam allowance is insufficient.

Hung oddly.

The sweater bunched strangely under the arms.

Not recommended

Great color, but once I washed it, it lost its shaped and was smaller!! Very disappointing. Wore it anyway and was sorry I did, the waist was totally stretched out by end of day, looked very sloppy.

out of shape

Washed following instructions. It shrank. And it really loses its shape! I would not recommend.

fell apart after 3rd time wearing and washing

This was not a good purchase as I barely had a chance to wear it and it unraveled up the side.

Great quality

I'm surprised by the other review that said it was way too small -- I felt the exact opposite, though I am a 2-4 small, not a 4-6 small, so that might explain the difference. I thought it was a bit loose on me, and I was expecting it to be more fitted. But I like the fit anyway, and the quality is really nice.
