On the Run 3-in-1 Performance Jacket

There are positives. The hood has a great fit. Sometimes hoods are so loose that they slip down and cover your eyes but this one fits nice and snug. The color is gorgeous - note there are gold accents on the outer jacket so the material is more interesting in person. The snug elastic on the arms keeps them in place. The negatives are significant, all told. The elastic on the arms is quite snug. It's hard to get the sleeves on and off, especially if you wear a smart watch or anything on your wrists with a larger profile. There are no pockets in the outer jacket. The only pocket is at the back of the inner liner, which fits pretty snugly so I'm not sure I'd always wear it. The fit on the model suggests she's wearing a jacket at least 2 sizes too large. I ordered up a size from my usual and there's no give at the bottom of the liner, it's tight around my hips. Not uncomfortable just fitted. The outer jacket is so cropped as to be impractical for a rain shower or to keep out a strong wind while hiking. This thing would just billow out and leave you cold. The overall look of this jacket is cute but only someone who would just as soon burn their money as spend it would want to pay $210 for this. I got it on deep discount. I wonder if they've sold any others. I may keep it because it's cute under the right circumstances and the price wasn't terrible. But I'll decide after I go by the outdoor store tomorrow to see if I can find something that makes more practical sense as an actual windbreaker.
