So if this were even cheaper than the purchase price and I wasn’t paying for the name…like if this was a $50 pair of shoes I would keep them. Overall they’re lightweight and seem like they’d be comfortable to walk in but I’m giving it a lower rating for a couple of reasons: 1. The material doesn’t feel high end enough for me considering the name brand and the lower part of the criss cross, the one that goes directly over your toes towards the front of the shoe, is a lot thinner than pictured. It’s just wide enough for my baby toe that it probably wouldn’t slip out but barely and it would probably not be as comfortable by the end of the night. 2. I would say these also run slightly smaller than true to size. I can normally wear a size 8 but these would’ve been better in an 8.5 for me. My foot is standard width so that part of the fit was great so it’s hard to say if this shoe would’ve felt ok walking in or too loose in an 8.5 because the way it fit at the cross cross felt like it was holding my foot nicely but at an 8.5 it might’ve only felt secure if the width of the criss cross were wider. Too bad because it’s a beautiful shoe otherwise just not for me.
