Beautiful Sandal But...
....I after trying them on, I understand why the mark down was so steep. First of all, and this is common with many Stuart Weitzman sandals, the strap is almost impossible to thread through the buckle collar - like you almost need tweezers or tweezers and 15 minutes to push and pull it through so it will lay flat. Also, the straps while very pretty are very thin and with the height of the heel they absolutely function to keep your foot "strapped in" and your foot can feel the pressure. I can't imagine spending much time on my feet while wearing these sandals. Finally, and I think this is design specific, it was the case of too big too small. The 8 fit to take a picture but not much else. The 8.5 was loose. Bottom line, while beautiful I think these sandals are both difficult to wear and difficult to fit. Sadly returning.
