The City Coat

Love the coat, however, the coat is extremely small. I usually wear xs/100lbs and I need a medium to move my arms!

But too heavy/thick for CA weather. I don’t care much for the sweater sleeve cuff, but the overall style is too beautiful that I could ignore that. Runs small. I’m generally XS or S size, but size S in this was small. Couldn’t close it. I’m 5’9” and the length was perfect for me. Loved it. Wish it was much thinner material but it would be perfect for cold weather states.

I originally purchase the size M because it matched my measurements but had to return for a small (and I still find it fits a bit bigger than I’d like). I’m also 6” tall and find the length perfect at mid-calf - keep that in mind if you’re purchasing. I do get great comments about it but because there’s only two buttons, it’s not warm enough out to wear regularly yet. I consider it a spring/fall coat (I’m in eastern Ontario, Canada).

I was looking for a fitted, black long dressier coat. Was excited to try this. As mentioned by others, this coat runs slightly small (I would say about 1/2 size smaller) I normally wear XS and wanted S based on other reviews but due to no S, ordered XS to try. I can close the coat but it’s snug and no room to wear anything heavier inside. The length is good. I’m 5’4”. The material wasn’t as nice as I had hoped. Not as polished/luxurious looking considering the cost. Definitely returning. I feel it is overpriced.

The look & sizing is spot on. The material quality is poor for the price. Fabric wrinkles easily & wished they included pocket(s) inside as well.

A small size is usually big on me and I felt like I was trying to put on a toddler's coat. How can they be so off? Please stock this coat in bigger sizes. Please!

Really tight in the shoulders. For a winter coat you can’t wear a heavy sweater underneath, I would size up.

The coat layer beautifully but did not leave any room for heavier winter tops. I might have kept it if it had just a bit more room.

The City Coat is so perfect I have it in both black and ivory boucle. I love the weight - warm but not too heavy. It looks great dressed up or down. I am 5’2” and it’s very long and dramatic, which I love. I would suggest ordering the petite version.

The material isn’t as high quality as I would expect for the price. It’s supposed to have a tailored look and it fits like a fleece.

Please please restock sizes medium and up! This is an item that is popular and gets sold quick
