Lucia Coat

I was disappointed with the fabric quality. I didn’t notice it as much in the store—likely due to the lighting—but once I tried it on at home, the quality was underwhelming. I kept it for a few weeks to see if it would grow on me since I purchased it on sale, but it never did. The length is good, and the fabric is very soft, which helps compensate for the fact that the coat is not lined. However, overall it still did not meet my expectations. The sizing also runs large; I’m usually a size 8, ordered a 6, and still had plenty of room.

Love this classic, elevated style. Fit much longer on my petite body, but I used Nordstrom’s alterations to Reyes the belt loops and hem the arm length, end it now fits perfectly. Looking forward to wearing it next month on my visit to New York. It will work well over both a gown. I am wearing to a black tie, wedding and jeans when I’m walking through the City. So glad I was able to get it as part of the anniversary sale.

I got the Reiss Lucia coat in black in a size US 2, I'm normally a size 0 in tops and jeans and it fits perfectly. I live in Florida but was caught once without a substantial coat in the winter to attend a wedding ~ and this is perfect. It's not too heavy for Florida.. we get really cold here sometimes and because I can dress it up or down (with leggings and cute sneakers) I think it's the perfect addition to any wardrobe.

I generally like clothes from Reiss so I’m extra disappointed in this coat. The fabric felt great out of the box, but within moments of putting it on, it was incredibly itchy. The coat isn’t lined and the fabric feels prickly. It’s an extremely oversized style, which usually works for me because I’m tall and slim. But this coat looked like a robe…not something that looks polished. Sending back.
