I’m always reading the reviews for size help. These definitely run big. Yes, I know they are slouchy. I typically wear a 29 or 30 , size 8 bottoms for reference. I purchased both the 29 and 28. I had a feeling they ran big. I don’t have a butt and carry most of my weight in my belly. The 28 were perfect with room to spare.
