Kids' Sync Derby

My son, through the last year or 2, has had these in both colors. They are the best shoe and I’m so sad he is past the size for “big boy”. They have not scuffed, they are the only shoe he completely just grew out of. Do not hesitate, we love them. No tying, slide on. I can say this since we’ve had each color and different sizes with no issues at all! See pictures of 2 different sizes and colors he has worn for months and months, at least 3 days a week. We purchased this style 3 years ago and the sole has certainly changed in that time. The shoes look great and very stylish; however, the sole is extremely slippery providing absolutely no traction. Our child was slipping on both our wood floor and carpet when he tried them on at home. Doesn't give great confidence about performance in school hallways and classrooms. In addition, the heel is quite narrow making the show difficult to get on. I imagine this will break in with time, but it does force upsizing just to get the shoe on. For such a great looking shoe, I wish the soles were a bit more functional. We will be returning.

This shoe was smaller than expected and did not have any give. Although it looked nice it was not comfortable.
