Much cuter in person!
I needed a pair of lower-healed, stable, black sandals at the last minute, and I ordered several pairs to try. I mostly ordered these because I like the brand, Spring Step, but when I opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised. The leather is nicely polished, and the hardware is more shiny than it appears in the pictures. Overall, I like these shoes much more than I expected. I indicated that they run true to size, but they almost run a bit small. The 39 fit me with no room to spare, and I probably would have tried the 40 if it were available.
