I wore an XS in my wedding dress and looked back at photos and at certain angles kept thinking man if I can see a little pooch in spanx, what in the world did I look like without?! When looking in the mirror I honestly never thought I had any belly at all, but was trying to cover all my bases just in case since of course this is my wedding day. But then fast forward a year later and I’m 3 months postpartum and wanted to slim down my c-section belly pooch at 155 lbs (I’m 5’6). I knew there’s no way the XS would fit so I went to buy a M today. Didn’t try it on in the store but when I got home I put it on and looked down and realized there was ZERO change. To prove it, I went and found a garment measuring tape and measured my problem area at 38” around with the shapewear on and also 38” with the shapewear off. It literally does nothing. Too bad it took me almost $140 to believe it. If you read the reviews on their website, someone always responds and say “oh! That’s not supposed to happen!” And offers a return. Or they say you’re wearing the wrong size like you don’t know how to read instructions/reviews. But even the next level up (level 3) wouldn’t be enough to “flatten tummy” like they claim. Buy this if you want a silky soft bathing suit bottom because that’s all it is.
