Ona Ave Waterproof Low Top Sneaker (Women)

I looked at a TON of reviews for these and they all say true to size. I don't know if my feet are getting bigger as I age, but my normal size (7.5) barely fit with no socks. I always wear socks so I'll have to try the 8s and I hope they work. I do have a high instep so maybe that's why. Also I don't have wide feet, but my feet aren't the least bit narrow either. I can't really speak on the comfort as my toes don't have any room to move when I walk.

I bought these shoes to take to Alaska. I expected light hiking as well as an all purpose shoe to wear with slacks or a casual dress. First time out of the box I was able to wear them all day without any difficulty. I should note that I have bunions and other podiatriic maladies but did not have any problems except a bister after a hike which I attribute more to my sox than the shoes. I wanted to buy them in the orange but because I needed them for more than one purpose I opted for the more neutral color. Still thinking about a second pair in orange.

I found this shoe in the Honey White/ Sanguine color. The color combination works for me because I don't like bright-white sneakers, but I do love a red accent (red is my favorite color). This is my first platform sneaker, and I couldn't be more pleased. This shoe is incredibly comfortable, like all-day-walking comfortable. Either it runs a half-size short, or my feet are longer now. But, I can wear my usual size 8.5 without a sock (yuck, not a fan) or the 9 with a sock. So, I gave the 8.5 to my mother and ordered the 9 for myself. Now, I've got to find it in another color combination. These are definitely worth having more than one pair for sure. As another person said, the waterproof aspect makes them more versatile than the fabric sneakers so popular today--you can wipe and go. And, the platform brings me into this fashion century :-). Yay for me!
