I loved these boots, but with the higher heel, I needed a half size bigger, so I had to return them.

uncomfortable
I wanted to love these as I have several Sorel boots but these were stiff and uncomfortable from the moment I tried them on. Had to return. I am still a loyal fan of the brand, just disappointed and wish they comfortable.

painful
The boot is very sturdy but rubs uncomfortably around the ankle. I felt it immediately after putting them on at home after they arrived. I had them on for only a few minutes and cannot imagine wearing them all day and how painful that be . Really wanted to like them . Do not waste your time. They will leave you bruised and in pain.
