Great Walking shoe!
I am a female who wears 11-11.5 in women's and it's difficult for me to wear women's running shoes because they always run small with my orthopedic inserts. These are amazing! I ordered the 11M and they fit great. They are narrow and the cushioning is perfect for me - soft with a little firmness. I've worm Hoka's before and they can have too much cushioning which irritates my back (not supportive enough). These aren't like that at all, which is great. Great arch support, snug fit. I will be ordering another pair. Highly recommend!

Causes knee pain
After doing tons of research, I settled on the Solimar (more minimal and versatile as a trainer) and was super excited to get my first pair of Hokas. Upon my first short run, I immediately started experiencing severe knee and ankle pain. thinking I might just be breaking them in, I wanted to try again and it has only gotten worse. When I ordered I did not realize that Nordstrom Rack had a different policy than Nordstrom and would only take back non-worn items. I do understand, but with very expensive running shoes, it is so disappointing because there was no way I could've known they would work or not work for me without trying. I contacted customer support and basically wasted 20 minutes in a chat with zero answers/slow response. There is a chance Hoka will take the return and offer credit - maybe I will try out the Clifton's through them since Nordstrom's letting me down. I will not be shopping here again.

Nice shoes but they don’t hold up. Worn for regular walking, not running or power walking. Soles disintegrating.

Perfect for narrow feet
I had ordered several Hoka running shoes in size 12 women and size 11.5 men. I have a slightly narrow foot and the men's fit better than the women's. These shoes are great for my walks.

Remarkably Comfortable Walking/Running Shoe
I was looking for a suitable replacement for my Brooks walking/running shoes which I had worn out. My neighbor raved about the Hoka Solimar shoe in regard to comfort and durability. I purchased a black upper with a white sole and I am amazed how comfortable these shoes are! I would recommend them highly to anyone. Great shoe at a reasonable price.
