Samantha II Water Resistant Knee High Boot (Women)

Absolutely beautiful and comfortable right out of the box. I searched for the perfect boot and this is it, I run between size 8.5 and 9 and wear 8.5 in these. I’m 5’5 135lb, they hit right below my knee, barely noticeable gap in calf but otherwise perfect. Love them so much I’m thinking of ordering another color as well.

First off, beautiful and comfortable boot. I'm a solid 10 size and the size is perfect with room for the toes. The dark taupe color pictured makes it appear a medium-valued brown/gray. It is dark valued. It is not taupe or greige which I was disappointed by. However, the brown is beautiful with no orange undertone coming through so it's more on the espresso side. I decided to keep since it will work with a lot of things in my wardrobe. Although I think Nordstrom has done great in trying to bridge the color confusion with online shopping, I wish they would invest in some color tools to ensure that what is pictured is the actual color. Or at least, teach their team what taupe is. :)
