Side-Quest Leather Crossbody Bag

I was so excited to see JC bags at NR at an affordable price. Thought I’d get one for me and one as a gift. The good: comes in a very nice box and velvet bag. The Blue bronze is a beautiful color. The buckle detail is very cool and eye catching. The bad: bag is extremely narrow and not much can fit inside. The kiss lock doesn’t close easily. The blue green one tho a gorgeous color is made of a thin nubuck and was full of scratches. I lightly ran my nail on it and it left a very visible scratch. I think if you use it a couple of times, it will last ok awful from scratches. The tan leather had a more regular leather surface and didn’t scratch like the blue one but the leather was of very very cheap quality. Felt like vinyl. Sadly had to return both. I own a lot of Jeffery Campbell shoes/ boots. For the most part they’re very cool designs but not the best quality materials used.

The bag arrived very quickly (thank you Nordstrom Rack). The Jeffrey Campbell Side Quest leather Crossbody bag came in a smart black drawer box with the designers name on it. Inside the bag was wrapped in a cloth black bag. There seemed to be more attention paid to the presentation box than to the actual bag itself. I realized the online orange color was fairly true (I bought the tan bronze), and I liked it. The buckle is presentation only - its not functional - and it is quite pretty. It was also a bit scratched up which I was not bothered by. Turning the bag over, it looked like someone had scratched a drawing of a bad tree into the back of the back. Not a deal breaker but... The real trouble came when I opened up the wrap around the strap. I opened the bronze clip to attach it to the bag and it stayed open. Had to be forced shut. This really is failure for basic production quality control. The second issue was with the retainer strap meant to hold the strap into place - it was too loose for its intended purpose. Again, a gross failure of quality control. I am disappointed this will have to be a return, and would not purchase anything else by this designer.

The quality and color of this bag is amazing. The shipping and the packaging was also above expectations. I love this brand and I was so extremely pleased with this bag. I wish I would’ve bought every single color but I didn’t make a good choice and they sold out quickly.

I ordered a different color the send me wrong color I returned the 1st one I ordered 2nd time they sent me again wrong order so maybe pay attention to what you send or if you have this color only remove from the website please 🙏 we live nordstrom I ordered from International because I am out of the state if its wrong hard to communicate with the store because the phone hard and expensive that's why pay attention thank you
