Excellent in theory, terrible in operation
This umbrella opens easily, with a push of handle base's button.
To close it, however, after you've pushed the button to collapse the spokes, requires brute strength.
It's so difficult to close, when the user closes it by hand or against the wall, the spokes will break.
As three did one the one I bought. If I only I could return it.
Do not buy umbrellas from ShedRain.

Compact and Effective
Nice and compact yet held up in wind burst during the rain. Was afraid it would turn inside out at one time but it didn’t.

Great Umbrella!
The Jumbo Windjammer Umbrella is an excellent folding umbrella that is very compact when closed, but opens to a jumbo, wind-resistant umbrella at just the touch of a button on the handle. That same button easily closes it when finished.
