Talya Ankle Strap Sandal (Women)

I have bought shoes from Sam Edelman for years and was excited to buy these. TWO MONTHS after buying them and wearing them only twice, the buckle snapped in half. It turns out, they have switched to making their buckles out of plastic. On a leather shoe. I contacted customer service at Sam Edelman, where I was told that they would not provide a replacement or a refund, but they would give me 20 bucks toward a repair. A repair? Why does your shoe need repaired after two wears. 20 bucks certainly will not cover it. After pressing the issue, they told me this was the best they could do. I do not advise buying these or any other shoes from them manufactured recently. It is not the same as it used to be.
