Fauna Kitten Heel Slingback Pump

I love these shoes in terms of design and comfort--theyre way more comfortable than most Sam Edelman shoes (and most heels, honestly) but they just can't stop breaking and it's driving me mad. My first pair broke on the very first day of wear when I stepped into a crack between pavement stones and the strap snapped off (which really should not have happened considering how slow I was walking and the supposed strength of the shoes. I exchanged them for another pair, which WERE amazing, until recently. Today I noticed the heel rubber has almost completely fallen off the right shoe, which on top of the strap issue on the first pair doesn't give me a lot of confidence in the quality of these shoes. I'm heartbroken, because these shoes are so adorable, but not really sure I want to go through this a third time within a month. I don't feel like basic wear to the shoes from walking into and out of my office or sitting in a chair at a desk should be causing any of the above issues.
