Devotion X 2 Walking Shoe (Women)

I bought the Ryka Black Lilac Devotions X2 Walking Shoe Size 7M. Feels good to walk on without all the extra cushioned sole as newer Ryka walking shoes. Still ok for the price. Material appears to be durable. Wish it was a bit more roomier but hoping will stretch a bit with use. Only thing different is the website picture displays an aqua green on the tongue for the Black/Lilac but the pair I got came with a Lilac / mauve color with brand name. Sole also has Lilac / Mauve color on the sole not the light aqua as shown on the website. It's ok as I like the Lilac Mauve I got. I'd recommend for the price

Purchased these in a 7 medium and 7 wide. I have a 9.2 cm foot width on my widest foot. Since my sizing was directly in the middle of the two widths on the size chart, I ordered both. The medium fits snug, but the mesh should ultimately break in nicely. I will be keeping both a Devotion X 2 and a Devotion X pair in the medium width. **Read below for information on wide width fit** While the wide did not fit my foot well (too much room side to side), I also noticed the widest part of my foot was hitting at the end of the midfoot/laces area and not quite into the toe box. I also noticed that there was A LOT of extra space between the end of the toe box and the end of my big toe. After measuring the outsole, the 7 wide is a touch over a cm longer than the 7 medium, and has a toe box shape that does not fit my feet at all. The shape of the toe box is straight from the outer foot and curves inward on the inner foot. My feet have high arches and I supinate with plantar fasciitis problems. I have a straighter foot on the inside with the widest part of my foot occurring on the outer portion of the metatarsals. I would give these 5* for the medium width and 3* for me on the wide. True to size on the medium, too long on the wide. I do not yet have details on durability or whether these will require specialty insoles, but day 1 support is nice in the arches.

As many others have listed, these are not great quality. I have only had them for three months however, the back of the shoe is wearing out already. I have had many other brands of shoes that I have worn for five or six years before even having any anywhere in the back of the shoe. It is disappointing because I expected higher quality from this brand however, I will not be buying again.
