The Round Toe Flat

I was so excited to find these shoes on sale in the store. I’ve heard nothing but great things about Rothy’s shoes but these did not live up to the hype. They felt pretty good walking around the store but I wore them around the house and my feet were screaming! The toe box is incredibly small from the top of the shoe to the bottom. The top of my toes felt raw after a very short amount of time. They look cute but they’re definitely going back. You couldn’t pay me to put them back on even for a quick photo.

I love these shoes!! I needed shoes for work that would be comfortable, especially because I need foot surgery and my foot is often in pain. I sized up a half size to give my injured foot more room, and then got ankle bumpers to protect the back of my ankle since I sized up half a size. On my original size, there was no rubbing on the back of my ankle, though. I’ve since gone back and bought a second pair and will likely go get a third soon, too!

These are comfortable for everyday wear. However the sole is not as cushioned as my other Rothys. Would not walk long distance in them.
