Vans
The original skate-shoe company, Vans brought California's vivid skateboard subculture into fashion's mainstream. Founded in Anaheim in 1966, the company's iconic sneaker was an instant favorite among riders drawn to its sticky soles, durable construction and laid-back vibe. Now offering apparel and accessories in addition to shoes, Vans is synonymous with youth culture, music and action sports.

Im pretty stoked on them
A lot of bad reviews, i feel differently. I think they’re awesome, they have all the improvements ive always wanted from the pros. Through n through a vans guy been wearing all types of vans, mostly slip ons, for 15+ years. My heel slipped on my right foot the very first step I took after putting them on in the shop, every other step to right now - no slip. Just seemed the shoes are still stiff brand new and once they were well broken in heel slippage is non existent. What I lost most about the premiums is they have a touch more room versus the pros. The pros are sooo tight around my feet, ive always hated it and just dealt with it. Always wished the pros had more room - boom, the premiums take care of that. Very comfortable and not squeezing my feet, more room in the toe box, not choking my ankles. Im not skating in my premiums to keep em from getting tore up, so I have no say in how they skate, but they feel like theyd be just fine. Overall, im stoked on the premiums and will most likely keep getting them, looking forward to more colors or styles if they come out. Thanks vans!

Worst pair of Vans I've ever purchased
I really wanted to like these but they are the worst quality Vans I've ever purchased and I've been wearing Vans slip-ons since the 70s. The insoles are a good idea but the fit is sloppy being very wide at the back. The worst part is that after a couple weeks they split in two places on the side wall so now there is quarter x half inch flap of rubber on the side of each shoe. I've never even seen this on any pair of Vans no matter how old they are.

The shoes are okay the size is not
I got them in my normal size and they were too big, then I got them one size down and they were way to small, I recommend to go half size down for this

Buy at own risk
This is my second time trying the premium's, first pair was old skool. Why do the premium's run big? Had to put an insole in to try and take up space in shoe. Never had a problem like this with the pro skates is what I buy the most of anyways. Even buying a pair of classic slip on no problem which is very rare when I do get a pair.

Reconsidering ever owning vans again
I have wore vans every day of my life for about 25 years. These are completely falling apart after a single month of wear.
