Darren Fringe Bucket Bag

It is genuine suede, you can even smell it. The nap is very fine, so one unfamiliar with higher quality suede might mistake it for microsuede. Even the leather zipper pull on the inside wallet pocket is superior, like kid skin. The size is quite adequate and the bag holds everything I need, including a full-sized bristle hairbrush. It is a bucket bag, so it’s plenty roomy. Looks very well as a shoulder bag or worn cross-body. There is a turn lock nib to close the bag with, set in handsome brass-plated hardware. The fringe comes out rumpled when unpacked from shipping, but if the bag is hung up, the fringe should straighten out. What was not done well here was the misalignment of two of the four snaps on the underside of the handle that are used to keep the doubled-over suede strap together when converting it from its full length for cross-body carriage to half its length as a shoulder bag. Two of the snaps and fasteners on the left side don’t align and there is a gap between the doubled strap on that side. The right side has snaps that do align and were installed properly, so the slack is taken up. It’s not garishly noticeable with the gap, and I will enjoy carrying this bag with the fringed suede jacket and fringed suede boots in the same honey/tan hues.
