Maersk Platform Sandal

For $70 (Nordstrom rack pricing) I was expecting a decent pair of shoes. These feel like something you’d buy at a discount bin store and still never wear. The entire base of the shoe is plastic looking foam made to look like wood. While they are lightweight, they look cheap. As soon as I opened the box, it smelled like straight chemical. I laughed when the box said they are promoting sustainability, because I can almost guarantee these plastic feeling shoes will end up in a landfill. The suede straps are also very loose, so only if you have super wide feet would they fit like they’re supposed to. I buy almost all my shoes from Nordstrom rack. Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand.
