Lila Velvet Burnout Button-Up Shirt

Looks expensive and is honestly the perfect addition to my very NY black closet. It's SO soft. Definitely runs large so I'd say size down, it's still perfectly loose with the lower size. I'm 5'2", 125 lbs, 34D. I wish they had this in other colors. I can't wait to have this be a long-time classic staple! It's sheerer and much prettier in person than it looks in the photo here btw. Highly recommend!

Love this so-soft blouse. It runs large but I bought an XX-Small and a X-Small and kept the XX-Small. I am a regular size Small in this brand and other brands but this top is supposed to be looser? I'm 5'3" 130lbs, A/B cup and the XX-Small fit the best. The X-Small looked too large on me, would work on someone tall, perhaps, but just looked like it didn't fit, I can't do oversized tops.

I’ve been looking for a black translucent black button up for a while, and this one was the one that caught my attention. It’s really cool with the velvet detailing, and it doesn’t feel scratchy like some nylon material. I can easily pair it with jeans to be casual or wear it under a blazer to be professional yet cool. Love it. A size down might feel just right, but if you go with your usual size the shirt still holds its shape well with the oversized relaxed feel.

The material is soft, the velvet pattern adds novelty to the standard black blouse (of which I have many), and it fits true to size. Looks especially great buttoned all the way up. It would be absolutely perfect if the fit were a bit more relaxed. I’m always looking for oversized blouses around this price point with material like this, that drapes well over the body (unlike all the stiff, shapeless cotton that designers have been pushing for the last several seasons). Still, it’s very chic and flattering. I’m 5’10” and it covers most of my backside.
