Amaris Print Metallic Top

Well, I was surprised by the other negative reviews. I LOVE this blouse. Reminds me of what I wore in college in the 70's. (oops, gave away my age.) It's way prettier in person than in the photos - the fabric has a lovely flow-y, shimmery look, and tho it's fairly sheer the pleating gives enough coverage in the body you don't really need to wear anything under it. The "lining" is a separate ivory silk camisole that I usually wear under the blouse but, again, you don't really need to (I wear the camisole under a bunch of other stuff, too.) It's true the camisole is shorter than the blouse (I have a long torso, and it comes just below the top of my high-waist jeans), but I don't mind at all that it leaves that little bit of shearness at the bottom of the blouse. I usually wear a small, though with my broad shoulders sometimes smalls can feel a bit snug across the top - but that's not the case with this blouse at all. The small is perfect, with plenty of room and flowyness - without being "frumpy" feeling at all. This is a sexy, gorgeous blouse that I get tons of compliments on, whether casual with distressed jeans or dressed up.

The pleats at the top in the fabric make the shirt move in weird directions at the bottom. The fabric is a nice feel but slightly itchy from the metallic thread. The liner in the shirt was a lost cause- it runs so much smaller than the top itself and is very short so if you have larger breasts it will end up being a cropped top. I love the print in person and the colors but wish it was designed differently or ran a little larger.
