Print Ruana

I had an eye on this for a while cuz the original price was way too expensive for me to afford. However, eventually it came down to either 15 or 20 and I could afford that. I was excited for it to come in but when it did, I was a bit disappointed. The fabric was soft and delicate, which was great, but the stitching was appalling. Some areas it looked like a child pulled the stitch and it gathered badly. Other areas it was so loose you could literally play with the stitching. Other areas had such large run off stitches and trays that it looked ridiculous and I had to take scissors to it. Different areas also were so warped it needs ironing but viscose has to be ironed delicately and cant be steamed. The whole time I kept thinking about the regular price and how this was not worth it based on the stitching alone. Im going to keep it cuz its the only purple shawl I could find with a decent pattern in a lighter purple, but its definately not worth the cost without crazy discounts.

I purchased this because it’s hard to find a Ruana in purple and I’m very happy with the color, style and fit BEFORE washing. After washing and hanging to dry I honestly don’t know if it’s going to look like it did when I purchased it. The fabric is very soft and smooth!! I have ordered the printed green twice and I received a light green patterned like the purple and brown ones in the advertisement.
