Lennon High Waist Ankle Bootcut Jeans

Here’s my Pistola advice - always buy two sizes. I am a Pistola fan. I always wait to purchase when on sale and feel they’re a nice looking jean at a fair price point. I purchased a few Mother styles during the anni sale and immediately returned. Much like Golden Goose - I don’t get the appeal. I believe I have 6 pairs of Pistola jeans now and the problem is - the fit changes drastically depending on the color you select (due to different material content). “Resolution Vintage” contains only 77% cotton and is somehow the thickest of all colors I have but stretches out so much. I went down to a 25 in that with my usually size being 26 or 27. I purchase this brand for “office wear” denim and this style in particular is classic and universally flattering.

I bought these jeans in September. They hung in my closet with tags on for literally a month because I was trying to decide if they were going to be worth the $158 I paid. I was skeptical. This particular pair was to replace another pair of jeans (different brand) and so they were filling a whole in my wardrobe. I finally decided to cut the tags and wear them. The first two times I wore them was for just a couple hours each time. After the second time of wearing them, not even for a full day, they were pilled in the upper/inner thigh. Now in mid-February, they are almost worn through. I'm going to have to stop wearing them so I don't find myself in public with a hole in the crotch area. I don't even have thunder thighs. Yes, my thighs touch but that is normal among the general population. Very disappointed. I expect my denim to last longer than four months (of actual wear).
