Pistola straight leg jeans
The color is spot on from the photo, the fit is straight and it does fit above the ankle on me. I’m 5’7”. I sized up from 28 to 29 and glad that I did. I find Pistola jeans to run smaller in the waist on me but correct in the hips. If you need a pair of light denim that shoes off a cute shoe, these are a great option!

Rigid, but still stretches out
First, these do run pretty TTS. But, rather than being truly straight legged, they were closer to barrel legs. I had to check to make sure I got the right pair because they were so different looking in person. The wash was a little lighter with less whiskering, which was a nicer, I think. Despite being more rigid, just trying them on for 5 minutes, they were already loosening enough to slide down my waist a little bit. Really wanted these to work, but had to return.

run TTS but not for hourglass shapes
Super cute jeans and feels like quality denim. However this cut is not for hourglass shapes. My waist gap and need to pull the jeans up from initial try on indicated that these won't work for me. It's a shame because they seem great otherwise. If I size down the hip and butt areas won't fit. So back they go!

I typically by Mother denim, but lately the sizing has been all over the place and too much stretch. These are 99% cotton and they have a vintage soft feel. Perfect ankle length , I’m 5’8” . They seem to run true to size. These fit similar to my Pilcro jeans. Now I just need to find these in black!
