Josey Ruffle Dress

When I took it out of the package I couldn’t even tell it was the same dress I ordered. The flowers were completely smashed and even after steaming they wouldn’t lay correctly. The sleeves/ruffles were very thin and didn’t have much shape unless you wanted to be constantly pulling them apart. The actual dress material felt like a Halloween costume. It also was on the small side and I did follow the size guide. It’s cute in theory but they executed very poorly.

I really wanted to love this. The design and aesthetic are really lovely for so many events. The length is perfect and the open back is a nice touch. What really disappointed me was how cheap the material was. It’s hard to describe, but it’s a shiny sheen, pretty thin feels weird. I would expect something like this to be cotton. That aside, it arrived so wrinkled and the flowers were so smushed and annoying to reshape. Aside from that, it also runs slightly small. I really wanted this to work, it had so much potential, but the fabric was just so bad I ended up returning it,
