Wicked Boot (Women)

I was cautious to purchase these bc there r some mixed reviews. Bought on sale and couldn’t b happier. I usually wear a size 7.5 and a 7.5 worked for me in these boots. At first the zipper / laces were stiff, within a few hours of wearing the leather warmed and molded to ankle. The laces and leather adjust to your foot / ankle. The look is sleek and the fit is super comfortable. I love Paul Green boots and these may be some of my favorites.

I just got those boots. Right out of the box I can say that one shoe was tried and another was still fully factory wrapped. I love Paul Green. My feet are narrow so I cannot complain about the fit. But! I agree that shoes bend in a weird way. I’ve tightened laces but based on my other Paul Green shoes with a similar laces they are not going to stay that way for longer than an hour. But I still wanted to keep them.. until I saw a small damaged right next to a zipper. Seems like someone was scratching with a nail or is it from that unusual bending while another person was trying it on. Whatever it was it made me think how easily this patent leather will last? How long this boots will be presentable? Will this scratch peel more? Unfortunately my size is sold out here and I cannot replace this pair with undamaged ones. If the price would be under $200 I would probably keep it but in this situation I’ll return it as I don’t feel good about it… Too bad they are so comfortable and cute…
