Brunas Waterproof Chelsea Boot (Women)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The color is a subtle dark metallic. Usually a 7.5 to 8, the 39 fit better with room for thicker socks. Love the taller shaft height and chunky soles. Looks fantastic with dresses, skirts & cropped jeans. The interior is so soft there is almost no break in period.

I’d been looking for a Chelsea boot with a high narrow shaft and a dramatic lug sole. Tried at least half a dozen before I found these and they are perfection. Nicely made and waterproof too. A nice surprise is the warm lining fabric. Like stepping into uggs without the bulk. Another reviewer cautioned these if you have a high arches. Glad that didn’t deter me as I have super high arches and they work great for me. The zip instead of the pull on is a help. Can’t say enough about how much I love these.

I bought these for a trip to NYC in March. They were perfect for walking all day in the city, keeping feet warm and dry. Soft leather, no break in time required. It’s rare to find a practical boot that is also stylish. I have so many black boots, so I ordered the steel color for something a little different. They have a very subtle shine to them. Highly recommend.

These had all the right things looks-wise: snug on the calf with the elastic gore, waterproof leather, reasonable height. For those with high instep/high arches, these beauties won’t be your friends. Or, you will need friends to help you out of them. They are pretty stiff and clunky. So I’m still on the hunt for a platform boot and sadly returned these.
