Runs small

I wanted to love these, they’re soft and the wash is a nice, faded, worn-in look. For some reason the size is way off. I wear a 27 in nearly every style of Page denim I’ve tried, which is A Lot! Sometimes I’ve needed to size down to a 26 but never have I needed to size up. These were way too small in the waist, I’m not even sure if a 28 would fit right?! Super frustrating because I had really felt like Paige sizing was wonderfully consistent. That is NOT the case with these, they’re going back. Bummer.
