Fragrance story: Part of a collection inspired by America's national parks, this candle takes you into the wild with cottonwood and oak fragrances, and comes with a cherry wood dust cover and a crackling wood wick. The textured ceramic vessel works with strike-anywhere matches, so you can really achieve that campfire feeling.

Top notes: African ginger, lemon zest, bergamot, crushed black pepper

Middle notes: Elemi resin, clove leaf, cinnamon bark, eucalyptus, fresh nutmeg

Bottom notes: Tamboti wood, blackwood, cedar, sandalwood, dark teakwood

Good scent, bad packaging

I bought a few of these Paddywax candles in varying scents because I like the concept of the National Park line and was hoping to give a couple of the candles as gifts to friends too! Unfortunately the packaging is really disappointing. I thought these would come in a box, but instead each candle was wrapped in bubble wrap with clear packaging tape. So, I won’t be gifting any of these. One of the candles arrived shattered as well because the tape came loose from the bubble wrap. So, the candle itself smells nice but beware of the packaging, especially if you are consider gifting!
