Be sure to cut the wick!
My daughter bought this (me) for my mom (she’s from the smoky mountains). Mom lit it right away and it spit and quit! My daughter asked if she could have it (because the jar is so unique) took it to her room, cut the wood wick and it’s burnt beautifully ever since! Just like going home!
