Franco Sarto's extensive experience as a cobbler and his singular vision as a designer made him uniquely suited to start his own line of effortlessly elegant Italian footwear. Impeccable and sophisticated, Franco Sarto shoes are fashioned with graceful lines and rich leathers—making every pair an enchanting homage to the Old World, remade in a beautifully contemporary style.
These are great flats! Stylish and comfortable with the square toe. There is some arch support and cushioning, and do not feel as flat a traditional ballet flats. The suede is flexible and comfortable. I love the soft blue color. The strap is a little loose, but it's ornamental only--the shoe stays on well without the need for a strap. I took one star off because these will get dirty more easily than some other colors and because FS is not very transparent about whether their suede is real leather or faux.

too small and strap was damaged
I read reviews that said these run wide and others that said they run narrow. Too large, too small. I ordered my usual size, but I couldn't get my foot in completely. But what really bothered me was the strap was crimped. It looked permanent. Disappointing. Back they went.
