Marilyn Straight Leg Jeans

Very nice quality, thick fabric. Nice fit, a bit big in the legs for me. However, they run very long. I am 5' 8" and have long legs and they dragged on the floor. Not going to wear these with high heels any time soon, so they are going back.

I will confess that I have worn and purchased a pair of jeans only because they looked good. These jeans look good and feel good! They feel good, lay and accentuate the right parts of my legs and hips. The color is better than the picture. These are great for Jeans on Friday and for riding the motorcycle. I like the fit and felt that it was true to size. I was not going for skin tight. They do not fit like yoga pants that tell your entire life story. They are well made. I did not have any issues with crooked seams. The thread was even and looked great! Yes, if you need a pair of jeans to add to your wardrobe these are the ones!

The shape of the leg felt more like boot cut. It came it at the knee and widened at the shin. It is very stretchy and didn’t create a flattering look. I’m hoping if I wear them and they stretch it will change.

The pair I received has a 31” inseam so they are not too long at all. I am 5’9”. The Camille wash is very casual but at this price I am keeping them for garden work pants. Pleased with this purchase.

These are the most comfortable jeans I have ever worn! They fit perfectly (run big, so size down one size) and are very flattering!! No shrinking at all when washed, and the color stays true after several washes. Highly recommend!!

I would definitely heed the note about going down a size. Great jeans but they do "relax" as you wear them. They're really comfortable and have a flattering fit. And the inseam is long enough for 5'10" me.

After washing/ drying- put on to go to event- after wearing for one hour- couldn’t keep them up- they felt about 2 sizes too big.

I ordered the NYDJ Marilyn jeans because I already had a pair & loved them for years. But the new pair smelled strongly of formaldehyde. I’ve washed them 4 times hoping to eliminate the smell. The smell is less now but still present. Haven’t been able to wear them.

Nice jeans, good fit but not 98% cotton. They are a blend of cotton and polyester. Otherwise nice. I will keep them.

I have purchased many “not your daughter’s jeans” over the last 20 years. I have also purchased many of the Marilyn straight leg jeans. These are not straight legs though. They are flared at the bottom more like a boot cut. That’s not a big deal for me, but if you’re reading this review and you want straight leg, this is not them. There is also a change in where this hits at the waist from other pairs that I’ve owned. These hit below the belly button. I like a little more high waist to keep my tummy tucked in. If that’s what you were looking for just know that these hit below the waist. The material is heavier and stiffer, and has some kind of funky smell that I’m trying to wash out. I am still OK with these jeans in spite of everything I’ve just said because they do have decent stretch and they were long enough for me at 5’8 .

What a steal for NYDJ. I’m 5’8” and 150lb. I purchased a size 8. They fit great. I also own this style in a size 6. The smaller size does stretch out and work. The bigger size is comfy as soon as I pull them on, but it doesn’t get baggy and stretched out. What I really like is that I’m not pulling these back up all day. They stay put. I think the inseam on these is 31”. They are long enough to cover my socks, but short enough to wear flats.

Description said 90 percent cotton when received they were only 68 percent cotton. So I returned
