The best shorts ever but run huge!!!

I have been wearing these shorts for many years. They have always run about a size too large and stretch out. I have always bought 2 sizes smaller than I wear normally and they worked out well. This season I am a size 6- 8 in pants , so I purchased a size 4. They are absolutley huge. I went down to a size 2, which is a nice fit but I know they will stretch , so now I am trying a 0. That is crazy! Other than sizing, they are a beautiful soft linen. Lightweight and comfortable for summer . The length is perfect for my not so pretty legs. Love the color choices. Hoping the feather color comes back in stock. They wash nicely , but I air dry them. They are linen so of course they wrinkle, but not terribly. They look nice for years.

Waist size too big for rest of the garment

I read the reviews and purchased a size down from my normal size. When I tried the short on....the waist was 2-3 sizes too big. I thought perhaps I ordered a plus size by mistakebut I didn't, according to the garment tag on the shorts. So disappointing because they seem like the perfect shorts.

Great shorts; too much stretch

Beautiful soft fabric, lightweight and comfortable. I ordered a size down because of the stretch factor, but even with that, the shorts were quite loose at the end of the day. Wear a belt!

Nice step up from hiking shorts.

Liked the color and the fabric. Took the suggestion to order a size down from the one I usually order and it was a good suggestion. Shorts had plenty of room at this size, but were not baggy. Only thing that would have made these better would be side pockets rather than ones that opened in the front.
