Polo Sweater Dress

I do have the basic black dress thing covered, but decided to keep this one too! It is heavy weight, which I like because it has that structured look and feel, but isn’t structured. I would size up. I’m usually a medium and bought the small medium. It is on the shorter side, but very cute with a pair of flats and easy to put on for any occasion.

I was very surprised at how heavy this dress is and how my 12-14 self was swimming in the L/XL. I'm going to exchange for the smaller size and see how it fits. Very nice quality but I hate that it's so heavy given that I intended to use this for travel. I'm afraid it might be hot. The material doesn't seem breathable.

I'm glad to have this little sweater dress. I marked it true to size, which I believe it is, but I'd say it's true to size for a relaxed fit. Maybe slightly oversized, but not sloppy. Unlike a previous review, I don't think it's huge. I always find it most helpful to have details in reviews, so I'm 5'6", 142lbs, hourglass-ish shape (38-29-39). I got the small/medium. It comes to just above the top of my kneecap. So it's wearable for me bare legged and also later with tights or leggings. The fabric is somewhat weighty, so it feels solid and not cheap. It'll make a great fall dress for me.
