Cotton V-Neck Sweater

My sweater arrived, nice thickness and comfortable however when I went to wear it the darn security tag was still attached. It cannot be removed by anyone except at the store which is incredibly inconvenient when one orders online for a reason. I don’t know what is happening to Nordstrom but these strange things have occurred twice in my last two orders.

Grabbed on sale - I sized down which was a surprise. This cotton is soft and to my eye and touch, like a Frank & Eileen sweater. Washes beyond well - no tightened up seams, no out of shape body; perfection. I put it in the dryer for 10 min to release wrinkles, then dried it further laying flat. Next time I may dry in dryer further. I’d like more colors.

Decided to go with a Small instead of my normal size XS. Either would have been fine but I'm sticking with Small in case I want to layer a tee underneath. You do not *need* to wear something underneath this, however, depending on your comfort level, note that this stitch is a tight weave but still has some openness to it. That's what I like about it. I'm a fan of 100% cotton clothes and a fan of this type of stitch. I like that it's v-neck without being too low! I took a pick without it tucked so you can see how long it is as-is. I will get a lot of use out of this in cooler fall and winter weather. I marked that this is TTS yet it's meant to be oversized at that.

I had purchased the Nordstrom brand all cotton ribbed crewneck sweaters in light blue and tan, and gave them 5 stars. Based on that I purchased this Vneck in Navy. I give this 5 stars too for fit, quality, value at the sale price. It is a heavier weight than the crewnecks. For Upstate NY I'd wear the crews in Spring (too heavy for summer) and the Vneck in winter. (They show the models with no shirts under the sweaters, I never wear even cotton sweaters without a shirt. The texture is uncomfortable for me.)
