Mara Belted Maxi Puffer Coat with Removable Hood

I wear a true size medium in coats; I am a size 6 in women's dresses and small in pants that have a little stretch, and in non-stretch at times an 8 if the hips are narrow.  Waist is 28', bra is 36C, and hips are 40.  And WHEN I SAY YOU NEED TO SIZE UP 1-2 SIZES, BELIEVE ME!  I ordered this coat (and 2 other styles & colors by Noize that are in transit) in a black size medium; I tried it on with a thin sweater& leggings, and from the upper waist up, it fit well. I had plenty of room in the chest and arms, but from the waist down it was horribly tight; the hood is on the smaller side, unlike a typical big hood on coats! This coat is made for extremely narrow-hipped people. I need to exchange them, I think, for an extra large.  A large might fit, but the hood & hip area make me think XL.

I ordered this coat(XL) recieved it quite quickly too and was so excited until I opened up the package. The coat was worn and it seems for a while and returned there were face powder greased into the neckline of the coat the underarms and butt area had the crinkle marks from longtime wear, the cuffs also had marks of rubbing against the skin then I also recieved the wrong size large. I called customer service right away because it was purchased during clear the rack(final sale) I was offered a return label to send the item back which I am extremely happy about. I always purchase from Rack and this is my very first unpleasant experience that left a very bad taste. Customer agent said quality check were supposed to be performed but I guess they failed miserably on that one.
