Mara Belted Maxi Puffer Coat with Removable Hood

I wear a true size medium in coats; I am a size 6 in women's dresses and small in pants that have a little stretch, and in non-stretch at times an 8 if the hips are narrow.  Waist is 28', bra is 36C, and hips are 40.  And WHEN I SAY YOU NEED TO SIZE UP 1-2 SIZES, BELIEVE ME!  I ordered this coat (and 2 other styles & colors by Noize that are in transit) in a black size medium; I tried it on with a thin sweater& leggings, and from the upper waist up, it fit well. I had plenty of room in the chest and arms, but from the waist down it was horribly tight; the hood is on the smaller side, unlike a typical big hood on coats! This coat is made for extremely narrow-hipped people. I need to exchange them, I think, for an extra large.  A large might fit, but the hood & hip area make me think XL.

I got the brown jacket and it’s so beautiful. I was in Jackson hole it was 18 degrees. I was not cold at all. It’s worth it. I’m 5”5’ 135 athletic build. I got a small and it fits perfect. I layered a tank top and sweater and was still able to move.

According to the size chart I would be a size large. The coat fit a bit narrow in the hip area. I will reorder in the xl and see if that works. Otherwise great quality. Beautiful coat.

It was too much for my 80 year old sister whom I ordered it for. It was too long for her, I returned it

I ordered this coat(XL) recieved it quite quickly too and was so excited until I opened up the package. The coat was worn and it seems for a while and returned there were face powder greased into the neckline of the coat the underarms and butt area had the crinkle marks from longtime wear, the cuffs also had marks of rubbing against the skin then I also recieved the wrong size large. I called customer service right away because it was purchased during clear the rack(final sale) I was offered a return label to send the item back which I am extremely happy about. I always purchase from Rack and this is my very first unpleasant experience that left a very bad taste. Customer agent said quality check were supposed to be performed but I guess they failed miserably on that one.

Great, warm coat. I'd say it runs a bit large. Looks better without the belt. Love that it's vegan.

This coat is CRAZY warm! I was worried since it’s a vegan coat that it couldn’t be warmer than down but this thing is so warm you can’t wear it in weather 40F and above, you will sweat lol. The coldest it’s been here is 20F and I was toasty warm with just a long sleeve shirt under. It is bulky and it is tight in the arms/chest so you can’t wear a thick sweater or baggy sweatshirt under it. But you would be too warm anyways. The coat is pretty heavy but you get used to it. It zips up from the bottom to walk more easily. Great for long winter walks with my dog. TOASTY warm on an hour walk in 20F.

I rarely do reviews, but this was one of the best purchases of 2025. This cost is so warm and long. I love that it has a cinch belt and the quality is amazing. I highly recommend as a cii out at for freezing temps.

Perfect for cold weather. Very long but doesn’t feel too heavy. Normally I’m a medium but I feel like this one is a bit big. Glad I purchased this.

Quality, Heavy winter coat

I bought this on sale and I can’t believe how warm this coat is. I wore it during the coldest day in NY and I’m warm. Amazing

I’m 5’4 weigh 158. The medium was too small. Not sure if the Large will fit. It’s such nice warm coat
