Pleated Long Sleeve Sweater Dress

The dress is flattering and covers curves and I received compliments on my first day of wear. But by the end of the day, the pleated material was cut but not finished so threads are coming away. See photo. I don’t think it would survive a wash. The cream material is also sewn into the black dress with cream thread, so you can see the thread through the black dress both at the top of the seam around the waist and at the hemline. So disappointing as I really loved this dress for the one day I wore it.

I loved whatever the black fabric is (perfect amount of stretch!). Also loved the longer sleeve length! I returned it because with the high neckline and where the length hit on my body, it ended up looking frumpy instead of vintage/classic. I hope the designer sees this, creating this next year with an off-the-shoulder or boat neckline instead. For me either would offer a more balanced look, would show off my bust in a more flattering way (36DDD), so the snatch waist, and would probably feel sexier to wear.
