Details & care

Layered cushioning technologies bring plush, springy comfort to a waterproof running shoe that's perfect for everyday runners who want distraction-free performance at any distance.

Perfect for: Everyday runners looking for optimal cushioning and superior energy return in a waterproof running shoe that resists rain, puddles and splashes while providing reliable traction on wet and dry surfaces.

Upper: Gore-Tex Invisible Fit technology bonds directly to the technical-mesh upper to keep rain, puddles and splashes at bay. Plush tongue and lining provide a comfortable, snug fit.

Midsole Drop: 10mm, the most common and generally considered to be the ideal standard for running shoes. Classified as a high-drop measurement, it allows for more cushioning to absorb the impact of heel strikes.

Lower: ZoomX foam top layer provides plush comfort and springy energy. ReactX foam bottom layer cushions every stride and transforms heel strikes into responsive toe-offs. Storm-Tread rubber sole channels water away to keep every step reliably grounded on wet and dry surfaces.

 • Waterproof: protects against rain, puddles and slush to keep feet dry in wet conditions
 • Cushioning: absorbs impact and distributes weight for consistent, buoyant comfort under each step
 • Energy return: transforms every heel strike into responsive, explosive forward movement
 • Lace-up style
 • Removable, cushioned insole allows for custom orthotics
 • ZoomX foam sole delivers unparalleled responsiveness for enhanced performance
 • ReactX foam provides more energy return than Nike React foam and leaves a smaller carbon footprint under every step
 • Storm-Tread rubber sole, inspired by winter tires, provides reliable traction on wet surface
 • Reflective details enhance visibility in low light or at night
 • Gore-Tex Invisible Fit waterproofing bonds directly to the upper for all-condition dryness
 • Synthetic and textile upper and lining/rubber and synthetic sole

definitely size up

I usually wear size 7 shoes, but I read reviews that these run small so I ordered a 7.5. That was definitely the right choice. Even the 7.5 still feels pretty tight and a bit small, kind of like a snug size 7. But they’re really comfortable and feel great to walk in. Overall, I’d still recommend them despite the small fit.

Comfortable Right Out of the Box

I’ve been a diehard Brooks Glycerin wearer for years, but the last couple versions just haven’t worked for me, so I’ve been on the hunt for a new running shoe. I’ve tried several different brands and styles — including On and Hoka — and I think I finally found a winner with these. They’re comfortable, supportive, and felt great right out of the box. For sizing, I normally wear a 9, but after trying both the 9 and 9.5, the 9.5 was definitely the better fit. I’d recommend going up a half size.

Size half a size up

Excellent shoe! I bought this in two sizes, my usual Nike running shoe size and half a size up. My usual shoe size was way too snug, definitely purchase half a size up! I love the black and pink colorway and need the extra tread for SE Alaska weather - I’ve never had Gore-Tex running shoes before and it rains a LOT where I live so I’m excited to see if I notice a difference with these. I also love the Vomero as an every-day casual shoe - they are so comfortable!
