Satin Pleat One Shoulder Midi Dress

Gorgeous dress! I had such high hopes… I am a true pear shape with a size 14 top in most things across all designers… in a dress I take a 16 to accommodate my bottom half and have the top tailored to fit. I was shocked to find that the bottom of this dress fit in a size 16 but I could not zip the top up at all! About a 2” inch gap at the bra line and I’m not big chested! What the heck? I was so disappointed because it was a lovely dress!!! This is the first time in my life that the bottom of a dress fit me and the top was too small! It fit like a size 12 on the top!

The website says nothing about the hole in the side of the dress. Nowhere on the Nordstrom rack website does it say anything. The dress on amazon does by Nicole Miller so I wonder if I was sold an Amazon dress.

I thought the satin material would be a little heavier as it did not appear as thin in the item description. This dress carried a lot of static throughout the skirt but the most disappointing feature was a small cutout in the side of the dress. This was nowhere visible in the images online.

I purchased this dress from the site. It was pretty but too small. I’m quite busty. I would advise sizing up for this style.
