A skate shoe for your dad.
Possibly best skateboard shoe for older skaters. Good cushioning and support for heel. Not too much forefoot cushion for medium forefoot board feel, like a nike dunk. Curves in midsole lets the toes bend in the right spots. Solid grip. Comfy off the rip. My knees and back hurt less in the morning. My only con is that to provide impact protection, you lose some board feel since you can’t have both. Can’t flip my board yet so no comment on durability.
