The shoes are true to size. I have been wearing New Balance since the 1980’s. I have been able to buy these products because of the continuity in design and fit. The shoes are consistent in size and fit. I have been a runner, walker, hiker, tennis player etc. The shoes are always true to size. I am a retired Physcian and have recommended the product to my patients over the years. There is no perfect product but this product seems to fit the bill for a majority of people.

Run big
These shoes run huge. I ordered a size 16, like all of my other new balance shoes. These ones fit like an 18. Unfortunately, I cannot try on shoes in stores and return shipping is outrageous, so I am stuck with them.

Tight even with wide size
Purchaed two different pairs with the same wide size. This FuelCell walking shoes and one Freshform running shoes. This FuelCell walker is not wide enough at the shoebox like the other one. It's hard even after breaking in for two weeks. Will not buy again.
